October recap

Monday, November 3, 2014

October was a very busy month. We love fall around here (even though it has been more like summer this year) so we were excited to get to do some fall things like picking out pumpkins and eating fall food. There were also many school activities, as well as outside activities, this month. These are a few of the pictures that we took here and there.

This is what my shopping cart looks like most of the time...

This is Colby's first pumpkin. He loves to throw it in the front yard.

He loves driving the lawn mower.  He really drives it, too.

I may have mentioned this before, but Cameron IS Spiderman.  This was his "casual" Spiderman uniform that he wore to therapy one day. You know, the everyday version, not the fancy crime fighting suit.  Yaya and GiGi got him two of these, luckily.

This picture makes me want to cry.  This was our last baby's last meal in a high chair.  He now sits in the booster seat at the table with the rest of the family and the high chair has been retired.  Sniff sniff.

This year, Valero had their family day the San Antonio Zoo.  We all had matching shirts (the boys' were too big so I put similar colored shirts on them) and the company gave us tickets for everything that you would otherwise have to pay for at the zoo, as well as meal tickets to feed the whole family wherever you would like to eat in the zoo.  It was a lot of fun, and the kids loved seeing the animals.

This was our first family selfie ever. We were on the train at the zoo.

And this was on the way home....

Cameron had his first school picture day ever. He looked so handsome.

Molly and Parker came over to play for a couple of hours one day.  Colby enjoyed the company.

Red Ribbon Week was the first week of October this year.  This was Friday, which was Homecoming.

Cameron had his first field trip this month, which was to Morgan's Wonderland.  This place was soooooo neat! It was so clean, and they had some very very neat equipment.  It was also set up so that children with special needs (whether they are in a wheelchair, etc.) could use most of what was available.  I really really enjoyed our time there. I just wish that Tanner and Clinton could have come too.

This was "college day" during Red Ribbon Week.

Cameron recently had his first experience with Buddy Bucks at HEB.  He had a great time playing with the machine, although he didn't quite understand the prize system.  I thought it was neat, though, because he got an "instant winner" his first time playing and we got to go to the counter to get a prize. He got an HEB water bottle.
