Before we headed back to Pleasanton, we went to see this lady. The day that we left for Concan, we learned that her breast cancer, which she had been diagnosed with back in March, had spread to her brain. She has gone deaf, as a result, so we have to write down everything that we want to tell her when we see her. We are heartbroken. We love her so much, and she enhances our lives more than we can explain. We are praying all of our prayers for her right now.
While we were there, she actually got up out of her chair and walked to the other room to get the kids a few stuffed animals. She always goes above and beyond for them, and this day was no exception.
