Camping - Part 1

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we decided to take the kids camping in Concan.  We have been wanting to visit Lost Maples for years but had never made it out that way. It was a perfect weekend to go, because it was supposed to rain so I think a lot of people stayed away. We invited our friends, the Hartmanns, to come with us and we were so happy that they were able to.  The kids had such a great time together, and the adults stayed up and played board games and talked every night. Our cabin was in a very wooded area, and the kids had a blast exploring and just being out in nature.  We had absolutely no cell phone service or wifi, so we played lots of games and spent a lot of time outside. It was so beautiful there, and it was good for the soul to enjoy God's creation without any distractions.

This was right behind our cabin and it overlooked the Frio river. It was incredibly beautiful. Cameron kept calling it "Rainbow Falls", because they go camping in Henry Hugglemonster and that is the name of the place where they go. By the end of the weekend, we were all calling it that, as well.
 Goofy faces

 Handsomeness, all around.

The kids ate just about every meal on this table on the back patio. This one was breakfast.
Tanner thought that the dew on these leaves was pretty.
I think this picture pretty much sums up how Colby feels about food. He is such a chow hound!

 I'm so lucky he's mine =)

 Rainbow Fall

Cameron had a great time with Lila, and she was so good to him.
