New Blog

This is my first official post on the new blog.  The past couple of years have been very busy around the McDougal household and blogging just hasn't been in the cards, so we have an extreme lack of documentation of the happenings here.  I would really like to have a place where we can keep all of our memories and share them with family and friends, so I have decided to try to resurrect the family blog.  I decided to start fresh with a new blog so there wouldn't be a large gap in time from the last time that I posted. Since we are not usually on Facebook, it will be nice to have a way for us to share our lives with the people that we care about.  There have been some great times, as well as some very trying times over the last few years. We have been through extreme eczema, a new baby, a new job, cancer (twice), autism, pneumonia (twice), metapneumovirus, and rotavirus, to name a few. Needless to say, we are looking forward to the future and moving past some of the trials that we have been tested with.  Here's to a new chapter!
